After pushing way too hard this spring, I hit a wall.
Not just tired—burnt out. Crispy. Charred.
Every cell in my body whispered: “Please stop treating us like a robot.”
At the exact same time—because the Universe has a twisted sense of humor—several new clients came in, all at once.
Creative opportunities bloomed.
Energy returned—but not in a linear way.
Not in a "produce 3 emails, post 7 Reels, meet the metrics" way.
Instead… I flowed.
I pulsed.
I experimented.
I tried new platforms.
I let ideas stretch their legs.
I wrote when it felt alive—not just “on schedule.”
And next thing I knew, a whole month had flown by. But this weekend I saw Life of Pi on stage with my 15 year old, and it got me thinking, a lot. Which brings me back to the quote:
“You must take life the way it comes at you and make the best of it.”
That's what I’ve been doing—leaning into the rhythms of real life instead of the tyranny of algorithms.
Because here's the truth:
I’m not here to perform productivity.
I’m here to embody creative power.
To pulse with life, not to work like a machine.

⚰️ R.I.P. HubPages (And My Sanity)
I recently had an experiment go very wrong…but that is why I experiment, to save you from the pain.
I started writing on HubPages 15 years ago. Back then, it was magical:
Writers could earn passive income through Adsense and Amazon affiliates
Articles were syndicated to niche sites, no pitching required
You could explore wildly different topics without having to build a dozen blogs from scratch
It was ahead of its time
So I revisited that platform to explore if it still had potential to help writers monetize their content. You can read all about it down below.
But, as Pi advises, I try to take life as it comes at me and make the best of it and this failed experiment is no different. Because as my inbox started pinging with DMs from followers saying they couldn’t access the links. I realized that even though I hadn’t sent a newsletter in weeks, some of you had found me elsewhere. You were watching, reading, listening. You'd come to respect my expertise and rely on my advice.
